How do credits work?
Each thing Beckon does online uses a fixed number of credits,
shown before it starts: Ask about this uses 1, a research on
flights, hotels, products or jobs uses 4, an open question uses
6, a watch check uses 2, and a meeting summary uses 2. Voice
commands and everything that runs on your Mac use none. The
Account page shows what's left.
What happens when the trial ends?
Beckon moves to Free. Your meetings, history, boards and
watches stay saved; Pro features pause until you upgrade, and
Free keeps the last 7 days of clipboard and "Where was I?" in
view. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
What is a watch?
A saved condition Beckon checks on a schedule, at most daily.
Each check uses 2 credits, so a daily watch uses about 60 a
month. If a check can't finish quickly, Beckon skips it and
tries again at the next one, without using credits.
What if I run out of credits?
Beckon tells you when 80% are used, and never stops something
halfway. When they run out, Pro features pause until your
credits reset, you add 200 for $5.99, or you move to Max. There
are no overage charges.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel from the Account page in Beckon, or with the "Manage
subscription" link in your receipt email. Access continues through the paid period;
the subscription will not renew.
Do affiliate links increase the price?
Beckon may earn a commission on qualifying purchases or bookings.
Third-party prices and availability can change; confirm them with
the seller before paying. Commission never determines the order
of Beckon's recommendations.
Do I need a subscription for voice commands?
No. Voice commands, windows, the island and Claude Code in the
notch are free on every plan. You'll just need a supported Mac,
a one-time voice download, and the usual macOS permissions.
